CUT-OFF

A while ago I received this cut-off denim shorts from MIH Jeans with the sweet note that summer was around the corner. Well, it took ‘summer’ a little longer than expected, but it has definitely arrived. And London in summer is so perfect! James and I can finally enjoy some time together in the park, and it is super cute to see how he’s exploring everything around him. Especially now he learned to crawl around… which also means that NOTHING is safe around him anymore LOL!
Back to my look of today. I have to admit that I am not used to wearing high-waisted shorts, but I do like them. It’s a bit retro, but at the same time quite sophisticated, and it makes your legs look endless. My new heels, bought in sale at Zara, are absolutely my favourite heels at the moment. Because of the plateau on the front, the heel isn’t that high actually, plus my weak ankles are perfectly supported by the straps. So girls who have the same weak-ankle-issue: These work!

I found some cool pics from during Amsterdam Fashion Week! Can’t believe it’s already more than a week ago… The first is one from the first day, together with Chantal (Cocorosa) and Cindy (COTTDS) right before we almost drowned by the heavy rain. The second is together with my sisters. On the left Lisa, on the right Guillette. See me wearing super high heels to be as tall as them… it’s just not fair LOL! The third is together with Liza Chloe and our new Fashionology bracelets. We love them, obviously. Last one is a sweet headshot with Cindy again, we had big fun!
If you want to see what I was wearing during fashion week, you can see my looks here: Look 1, Look 2, Look 3, and Look 4.

The winner of the Illustrated People giveaway will be announced tomorrow on my Facebook page!!

How cool when you come back from your holiday and there is an envelope with a LOOK magazine feature in it waiting for you! (For everyone who isn’t familiar with LOOK magazine, it’s one of UK’s biggest lifestyle/fashion/women magazine). Together with a few other bloggers I got the opportunity to tell a little more about my style, favourite high-street shops, and shopping secrets. Anyway, it’s always an honor to be featured, and very funny to see myself in a magazine!

Tonight at 00.00 GMT my Illustrated People GIVEAWAY ends, so make sure you enter on time!!

It’s very appealing to do nothing when yo have the sun, a sunbed, and a refreshing drink, but when in Menton it’s definitely worth to go to Monaco for the afternoon. So we did, together with James and his grandparents. Obviously I ended up in the Celine store… left empty-handed (how in the world can you just pick one thing there… I just can’t decide on what I love the most) and went to Zara to buy the most amazing A/W12 jacket!! I normally never buy fall jackets so early in the season, but since we go back to London, where everything except for summer is waiting for us, I thought “why not”. Anyway, it’s a combination of lambs leather and fur, very minimalistic (very Celine LOL). Show you soon!
I go and get my last tanning done, see you soon from London!

What about this metallic blue eye-shadow? Cool isn’t it?! I got this amazing eye make-up from THE Maybelline make-up artist Clayton Leslie during Amsterdam Fashion Week. I normally never wear such bright colors on my eyes, but after the green watercolors from Maybelline I got on Amsterdam Fashion Week day 1 (see here), I was addicted to this amazing effect it gives. I still prefer the green color, but this blue definitely does the trick with an all black look. What do you say?
