All of you who’ve been following me over the past 5 years know that when it comes to bags, I’m not afraid to go for color. A forest green PS11, a bright yellow Celine, or anything in the color of now: burned orange… So this deep red Loewe clutch shouldn’t come as a surprise. Though for me personally, when I knew I was going to receive this clutch, in red, I wasn’t sure if I would “love” it. I guess it just had to grow on me, which it did. And exactly this happened to this red dress, after hanging on my clothing rack for a few weeks in the office. It totally grew on me, and now I LOVE it!
My favorite part of the day for taking photos must be the “golden hour” in the PM. Though finding the light in a city like New York can be challenging. It’s definitely easier downtown, where you have less high buildings, but still… The dress I’m wearing is more golden than the actual light does reflect on the photos. It was beautiful, but we didn’t succeed in capturing the “warmth”.
Never thought I would take this boho-thing to the next level, and then I mean next level for me, cause have you seen me really boho before? No, exactly, neither did I! I guess this slouchy bag made me go for it. It feels like the perfect bag for loose dresses, maybe even floral dresses. For a change I can also actually put something in my bag, as this Chanel Girl-bag is the complete opposite of the Boy-bag I own, in terms of size. Good for a change. Changes are good…
It’s white with lilac and black, and some sort of gold. Charlotte, what did you take? Are you sure about those colors? These aren’t exactly first pick when it comes to “my colors”, I know. In fact, I stick to hues of blue, and gray, and sometimes I go for earth-tones to get that 70s feeling, so why lilac?
To everyone I love… If there was a way to extend my days, build in more hours, or even a few minutes more every morning, I would totally go for it and seize every extra second I could get. I used to have a very annoyed attitude towards people who always start their sentence with – after I asked how they were – “I’m sooo busy”. Why so annoyed Charlotte? Well first of all because I think it’s a stupid thing to say to a mother who runs her own business, and secondly, aren’t we all busy somehow? Why would I care you are, I am too, and I’m not complaining about it either, am I? Or isn’t it a complaint when those people tell me they are sooo busy? Is it simply a way to tell me the reason for their absence over the past weeks – as in, we didn’t find a second to go for a drink. I don’t mind, I get that.
