You notice it, right? I mean, these Celine Ghillie sandals are a returning topic on my blog these days. I guess they do just so well editorial wise – and then I’m not talking about my outfits obviously. The fact they are so gorgeous in photos, makes is a huge challenge for me to wear them, cause my daily attire isn’t anything near editorially styled. Anyway, I simply couldn’t resist charing this one I found last week. I’m obsessed with her – Ophelie Guillermand – and him, who shot her so perfectly – Paul Wetherell – for this magazine I never gave enough attention – Intermission Magazine. Thanks world wide web for introducing me to yet another great source of inspiration!
I met Tara, a New York based fashion writer, at the Tibi Resort presentation a few weeks ago. Her cute little bag immediately caught my eye. Perfectly shaped – reminding me a bit of a Celine box bag – its sophisticated color, but not by a brand I could identify immediately. Intriguing much. As it was laying on the table, I asked her if I could take a look. “Of course!” she said.
With Phoebe’s collections it’s like you either love it or hate it. She brought Birkenstocks with fur and cross-country sandals which made most of you look away, but her plaid collection drove you crazy, as well as the primary coloured graffiti one from last season. So in spite of the love-hate relationship, we all end up being extremely inspired by her collections anyway. Now what can we take away from her Celine Fall 2014 collection? What pieces can we keep? And what pieces should we buy, real-deal or style-steal, to make our wardrobe’s “Celine” fall ready?
Model Dree Hemmingway, styled by Francesa Burns and shot by Angelo Pennett, is going cross-country with these awesome Celine sandals. Actually this is the editorial that gave me the final push to get myself this pair. And see, they are perfect for transitioning into fall, as chunky socksare still the way to go! See more
You are most definitely not advised to wear these shoes when you are moving from one place to another, the thing we are about to do today, yay! Nevertheless I had to share these mules I saw at the Tibi Resort 2015 presentation last week. First of all “the mule” has kind of grown on me since I got my own pair from Whistles. Then, I can obviously not ignore a shoe that comes in python inspired black leather. How freakin’ gorgeous and sophisticated, right? Anyway, you will have to wait a little while before you can make these yours, but I bet it’s worth the wait.
