This must officially be my last look from New York Fashion Week. At the time Christian and I shot it, it was completely lunatic to go out in shearling, given the fact the heat during NYFW is crazy, but I could not get the look out of my head – and when that happens, I know it’s a good one. So when I shot the new Chloe Lexa bag, I HADto do this way, my way – 40 degrees and shearling…
My last look from last New York Fashion Week, this incredible attractive Tibi Pre-Fall 2016 dress. Potentially one of the best floral dresses out there right now – and you know my “issues” with florals, it’s either GREAT or not good at all. The perfect coverup for Fall is the army jacket. Needless to say, I would not recommend going out with just bare legs at this point in time – these photos are the remains of New York Fashion Week last September – but you get a good idea of the style I’m going for. Bare legs or not.
For about 5 years I’ve not been celebrating my birthday the traditional way. Those years I celebrated my birthday without my loved ones around, but instead I did this with my favorite friends in fashion. This might sound a bit strange, but there’s a good reason for it, and clearly the only reason I would allow to come between me and celebrating my birthday without my family: Paris.
Wearing a gown on a simple Thursday in October, why not? Needless to say, this is overall pretty ridiculous, considering the gloominess and Autumn chills, but other than that, though, I could not embrace a casual gown on a casual work-day more! There are a few things to consider when talking about wearing a “gown” on a regular work-day, and let’s start by calling it a “maxi-dress”! Though… when Valentino made your maxi-dress, is it not considered a gown anyway?
