While being in the South of France, sipping on my glass of Cotes de Provence, I’m editing my images for Bergdorf Goodman – YES I’m working on my vacation – wearing this Dior AW16 bag (which is exclusively available at Bergdorf Goodman from today onwards). Loving it though, so definitely not complaining here! It’s really one of the things that I LOVE most about my job, and I will never not be thankful for being in this privileged position. I mean, it’s already amazing to see the newest collections up close, but being able to actually wear those pieces, incorporate them into you current – still very summery – wardrobe is a great challenge.
I’m always arguing with Thomas about how much time we need to get to the airport, and how long in advance we need to be there. There’s so many factors to consider, for example, when it’s not work related, we travel Economy, and that comes often with very long lines at the airport. I’m one of those people who gets really annoyed by inefficiency, so image those queues and me being surrounded by people who I feel are not being as efficient as they could be. Sorry, please don’t take this personal, but if you spend a lot of time on airports, you are amazed by the many different types of “travelers”. Anyway, time is an issue, I hate waiting, I hate being late, and especially when we are traveling with the kids, I want NO STRESS. So I like to leave really on-time…
Of course, Copenhagen’s finest would not be complete without Ganni! And this season, Ganni’s girls became “Space Cowboys”. Yet AGAIN they made their Runway t-shirt instantly one of the most coveted pieces online. Our wardrobes won’t be complete without it next season, they made that very sure. And this is what makes it even more clear how strong the brand’s position is right now. EVERY girl wants to be a Ganni-girl, and fortunately, this is even more possible now their collection is available on one of my favorite online stores.
This is pretty much how I look if on a regular work-day. ALWAYS wearing denim shorts – I could dedicated a book to them – a small heel, if it’s not a pair of Converse, and a statement top. Usually a summer-sweater, because with a functioning airconditioning, my home-office is nice and crisp, but this was definitely NOT the sweater I was wearing when my airconditioning was NOT running! Which is kind of the story of the past weeks, and I’m sorry for bothering you with it, but truly, the heat almost drove me CRAZY! I seriously showered twice per day at least, got itchy heat-rashes all over my body, and almost couldn’t smile anymore… It was really really bad, and I was amazing by the intense crappy service we got from multiple companies, who were there to help, but in the end had us waiting for over three weeks. IN THE MIDDLE OF A VERY HOT SUMMER… All the rage… but the problem is solved since yesterday, and these photos were taken before we had trouble wit the AC. When I could still smile, big!
