James, my absolute sweetest boy, I am in tears watching this, mainly because I am SO PROUD, but also because a big change is ahead of us, and I am fully in denial… You made me a mother 14 years ago and somehow, way too fast - like every mom warned me for… we blinked… and now you are off to follow your biggest dream. You worked SO HARD to get here and to see you follow your own path is my achievement, too. But damn, no I am totally ignoring the fact that this also means you will fly the nest. Sooner than I prepared for. Though I think I would never be ready for this. You are a part of me, and seeing you thrive is what gives me the oxygen to keep breathing when I think about you leaving. We blinked 🖤
