Evidently I’m tired, because those bags under my eyes are NOT Chanel. But who cares, because we’re in Paris. Well, this it’s just me, and Thomas as back home with the kids, but by “we” I mean you and me. One of the things I love so much about my work is taking you with me virtually on my trips. Right now I’m sharing most of it on my Instastories throughout the day – you should really check it out – and as much as I can on my blog. Though keeping the blog up-to-date while traveling is almost impossible – so hereby I’m unofficially asking you if you know/are a creative writer kid, that feels a HUGE affinity with THEFASHIONGUITAR.COM as a brand and understands its voice, and has basic knowledge of the business I’m in, send an email at careers@thefashionguitar.com… But aside from that, I know you want to know what I was wearing on my first day of Paris Fashion Week, so let’s do it!
I’m keeping it shot today, because It’s Sunday, and I’m still with my head in the Dolce & Gabbana clouds. Love their show for so many reasons… Anyway, it’s time for quality with my family before I leave for Paris again. I can’t wait, but I hate the moment I have to say goodbye. That never gets easy…
With the horrors of the previous February New York Fashion Week still fresh in mind – where an actual frost bite alert was sent out, and trashcans were picked up by heavy storms resulting them to fly through Tribeca – I pack nothing but puffer coats and heat-techs. Or did I not? Was I actually too much distracted by the insanely good weather forecast that I was not at all prepared for the blizzard? And did I literally considered ordering boots from one of the 5th Ave stores that do same day delivery? Well, yes, all of the above is true, because this time around it was going to be great weather… A blizzard? No that can’t be happening…
I’ve talked about the fact I’m not in Milan this season – FOMO – and about my love for red (boots), but we haven’t talked enough about New York Fashion Week. Reason for this is mainly the lack for time and manpower to got to all shows, events, and presentations AND update my blog at the same time. Nonetheless I keep you up to date on every social media channel I handle, so this look must be somewhat familiar to you… I’m sure you have seen this sweater coming by on Instagram, if it wasn’t on me, then perhaps on someone else, because fact is, it’s very popular. So I did a little “Vetements x Champion” investigation during NYFW… to figure out if spending a three number figure on a sweatshirt is worth it…
