I always find myself running late when it comes to preparing for certain events where a certain look is very much appreciated. For example Fashion Week, I often end up pulling my looks together at the very last minute. Way too stressful, and I’m always telling myself in that exact moment that I should plan my things better next time. Now Fashion Week isn’t quite there yet, but the Holidays are, so I forced myself to get “Holiday-ready” early this year… Proudly I present to you my first Holiday look: The perfect jumpsuit, with the most beautiful red shoes, and the fairytale box clutch of my dreams…
There’s nothing cooler than a product made especiallyforyour, or designedbyyou. The first option comes with the second when you have your Longchamp Le Pliage Personalized online, or as I did at their Soho New York store: especially made for your, just the way you want it.
We all like to dream, especially when the holidays are upon us, we like to dream about the things we wish for the most. I love creating wish lists, it’s a never ending thing, because there are always new things to wish for. Which is a beautiful thing, because it gives us something to work for, and whenever the time comes that you can tick of one of your wishes, it gives that ultimate feeling of “dreams coming true…”
I’ve a traveller’s spirit when it comes to places to work. I’m not in the luxury – yet – to rent a little office on Broadway, but our souterrain and Soho House are pretty awesome workspaces until then. Ideally this is what I would wear to the office these days: soft tones, comfortable fits. An all grey look with just a little powder pink makes it so much more exciting. Of course as part of the style-off. Talking about that, which of the three looks is your favorite? Would you prefer to go downtown shopping with in a pastel rainbow attire, or maybe have Sunday brunch in all pink, or perhaps this slouchy pink-grey office attire is more your thing. Tell me!
I only got properly introduced to brunching when we moved away from The Netherlands. We Dutch people love to eat, we really do, but we mostly do breakfast, lunch and dinner. No brunch, no tea-time, no cocktail hour. Of course we find occasions to throw these kind of food/drink feasts, but it’s not something we are truly accustomed to… “Doe maar gewoon, dan doe je al gek genoeg!”
