After heatwaves and intense humid, rain has come. Not just a little bit of rain, no, as good British weather does, it’s raining heavily today. Hence my perfectly blow dried hair is back to its own self: wavie and untamed. Other than that, I am not that sad about this change of weather. Obviously I hope this doesn’t mean the official end of summer, a few sunny (maybe even warm) days nearing the end of September would be nice, but it gives me the opportunity again to wear my beloved Fedoras, work with more layers, and wear skinny jeans’ with ankle boots. My favourite.
This look is the last in my collaboration with Jimmy Choo. It represents my ultimate fall-look, which I could wear every autumn day by only changing hats and colours. Okay, fair enough, I won’t be walking these heels freely for at least one more month, but after I have given birth to this little miss kickbox inside of me, you will see me in nothing else. A pointy elegant ankle boot like this is kind of the ultimate wardrobe staple. I’ve been talking about fall wardrobe staples, but those were more seasonal picks. This type of ankle boot is what you and me should always have within reach. They don’t have to be from Jimmy Choo obviously, just make sure you get a pair made of quality leather, and a good fit. It will make every casual-skinny-jeans-and-jacket-look instantly super sophisticated.
