When I see streetstyle photos of women wearing embroidered, embellished, or colorful printed trousers I always think “I need to get myself a pair”. But for some reason I never came further than my floral ASOS pants. Recently however, I met with the fabulous creative director of Goat, Jane Lewis, and got introduced to her collection (stocked at e.g. Matches) which included quite an interesting pair of embroidered trousers. I like to call it the hidden flower, cause when you take a closer look you see the hundreds of embroidered flowers, but from a little further away it’s the most amazing black pencil trousers I’ve ever worn. Trust me, it fits like a glove!
So in line with my desire for a ‘special’ pair of trousers, I picked this pair to style in a simple black and white look. Keeping the look slightly sober in terms of colors, it ensures the trousers get the right amount of attention. Never thought that floral could be so edgy, did you?
