With every New Yorker saying summer is coming to an end – although I’m not entirely sure about that, since it’s still pretty hot out there – it’s time for a little round-up of some of my summer favorites. Needless to say, number one on this list is the Chloe Faye bag, which I’ve been carrying ever since I received it. Its shape and color – this one and the cognac – go perfect together with my obsession over flared jeans, round sunglasses, and summer-boho.
Note to self: Wear skinny jeans with nude heels more often. I don’t know what and when, but somewhere along the blogging-line I lost interest in wearing my skinny jeans. It used to be a staple, but now you would have to real dig deep to find a pair of skinnies in my wardrobe. Where did it go wrong?
I think the above photo is one of my favorites ever. The motion, the colors, the feel it gives me when I look at it… it all seems so perfect – at least to me, and that’s big, because I usually shoot about 200 photos per look… and select about 5 to use! Anyway, here I am, wearing another beautiful dress from Jenny Packham. This dress was my initial choice for last week’s wedding, but I decided to go a little more “extravagant“.
It’s no secret Thomas and I got married before we moved to New York, neither is the fact that our wedding was a very lovely but formal happening, without the dress and the venue, nor were our family and friend around us. So on that special moment, when we told each other to love and be loved forever, we also made the promise to start planning the wedding as soon as we got to New York. Well, a lot can happen in a year… but the good news is, we are on the right path, and we are actually slowly starting to think about what we like, and where we like it to happen. Super exciting, and obviously the weddings we attend are amazing sources of inspiration. Now one of the key questions obviously is: What dress will I wear…
