It’s no secret Thomas and I got married before we moved to New York, neither is the fact that our wedding was a very lovely but formal happening, without the dress and the venue, nor were our family and friend around us. So on that special moment, when we told each other to love and be loved forever, we also made the promise to start planning the wedding as soon as we got to New York. Well, a lot can happen in a year… but the good news is, we are on the right path, and we are actually slowly starting to think about what we like, and where we like it to happen. Super exciting, and obviously the weddings we attend are amazing sources of inspiration. Now one of the key questions obviously is: What dress will I wear…

Jenny Packham is one of my favorite bridal designers –  I assure you, I’m not paid to say this, I just happen to be lucky to work with them – and also for wedding guests they have a ton of beautiful gowns to pick from. I’ve styled two of my favorite dresses for the summer wedding season, but in a little bit of a controversial way…

First in line this soft pink embellished 20s style dress. Most of you who saw my selfie on Instagram thought I was wearing a shirt, but here it is in full swing. And since I love love LOVE editorials where gowns and sneakers are clashing to the point they totally compliment each other, I decided that was they way to go for my blog posts. When I was wearing it to one of my best friends’ wedding last weekend, I wore it in combination with silver Jimmy Choo sling backs, and a mint green Celine pouch. Best dressed wedding guest, thanks to Jenny ;)

Thanks Natali. I wouldn’t wear it like this to a wedding, but it’s fun for street style! Xx

      • Natali

  • Chantal En Charlize

Beautiful dress, really it is, but for me, and i guess many more little woman beside me, it should be fantastic when the designers make also short lengths…..i don’t have to luck i was born out long parents, i don’t have legs which starts at the armpit , briefly worded; i am just 1,58cm and i wish they would make items for short people!!!

You can always have a dress tailored to your own length. That’s what I do usually.. I know it’s not ideal, but it’s an option. And if you don’t like that, check out ASOS Petit (I put some dresses up in the shopping list). Xx

  • This dress is magical! Then with the sneakers, so fun! I’m so excited for you, have fun planning your wedding

you look like “Princess bride” in this pink embellished dress ! a moder bride in sneakers. Really love this mix. xo Mireille

  • adore the dress. the front is a bit casual – not the embellishments of course, but the tailored loose fitting neckline reminiscent of an oxford. sneaks are adorb.. would also look killer with those metallic Celine flats.. :)

  • The color of that dress is absolutely gorgeous. Like, in all ways, I would use it for everything. The beading is also beautiful. I don’t know if I would pair it with sneakers, but you still manage to make it look stylish.

Not with sneakers to a wedding of course ;) But for the blog the inspiration has to go further than that, out of the box. Fun and different! Xx
