And just like that, I’m wearing floral two times in a row. Not the usual me, but that’s what Fashion Month is for, exploring and experimenting with new and different things. The floral dress I’m wearing today is very different from the one I posted last week in the sense that I feel more 60s and playful in this one, whilst the one I wore to Delpozo gave me more of a boho-vibe. Both incredibly beautiful and a pleasure to wear.
This dress is MY dream. I have been eyeing it since I saw it on the runway last February, and I couldn’t believe me eyes when I received it at home. It is the prettiest pieces I own. The color is incredible, not to mention the cute frills. This was the dress that I had to wear to the Delpozo show.
There’s nothing more satisfying than a good double denim look, even during fashion week. This might sound as a casual choice, too casual perhaps… I disagree, if styled well of course…
New York’s been cooling down the past few days, and that means new outfit-opportunities! I’ve been waiting to wear this cape for weeks, not did I ever imagined wearing it during New York Fashion Week though! Because I’ve vivid memories of my first season in New York, September 2014, when it was so warm that sweat literally dripped of my forehead… I’m not kidding… it was that warm.
Shopping for New York Fashion Week, or for any Fashion Week really, can be challenging. Not because I don’t know what I like, but anticipating on the weather is so hard. In September it’s most likely going to be warm, but then again, it could be chilly in the mornings, like it was yesterday. Therefore I always decide to buy light fabrics, but with long sleeves for when it’s colder, ankle boots in case open toes are not appropriate, and of course sunglasses. I wouldn’t leave the house without!
