You notice it, right? I mean, these Celine Ghillie sandals are a returning topic on my blog these days. I guess they do just so well editorial wise – and then I’m not talking about my outfits obviously. The fact they are so gorgeous in photos, makes is a huge challenge for me to wear them, cause my daily attire isn’t anything near editorially styled. Anyway, I simply couldn’t resist charing this one I found last week. I’m obsessed with her – Ophelie Guillermand – and him, who shot her so perfectly – Paul Wetherell – for this magazine I never gave enough attention – Intermission Magazine. Yesterday I took a day off. A day off prepping a post for you – which I, so far, did in advance for after my surgery, as well as this shoot by the way. Because when you are doing something you love so very much, but you also have two kids and a husband who mean the world to you, you have to make sure to create an excellent work-life balance. Now that’s something I haven’t mastered completely yet. From far away, from your end, it pretty much looks like I did though, but trust me, I am also just a mom, running around trying to keep all balls up. It gives energy, it gives satisfaction, but it is exhausting. Hence the day off. Just doing nothing more than spending time with my loves, and oh I almost forgot; recovering. All will be fine in the end, just stand still for a moment and smile!
Those Stannies are my absolute favorite trainers from last season. I must admit that I almost bought them when I got the pre-sale invitation for the Adidas x Raf Simons ones… Anyway, not buying them for myself didn’t mean I couldn’t get a pair for Thomas – to take the edge off. And then I found these mini ones… How in the world could I resist! I almost bought Stella a pair too, but my sister made me not do it “there are so many cute shoes for her, and at some point she might be wearing James ones anyway” she said…
