When looking at my photos I think you notice that I am working with a different photographer, and I am sure you think you know her from somewhere… That’s true! Lisa works with Sabrina from AfterDRK, which is also how I got to know her. Cause let me tell you, when being away from my boyfriend, I am away from my usual photographer. So I needed a back-up plan for Amsterdam Fashion Week! Lisa did a really nice job don’t you think? Soon more…

Now back to the shows…
I have too much to share from the past days at Amsterdam Fashion Week. Way too many amazing photos and videos (read my catwalk reviews here). I simply don’t know where to start! So, to give you the idea you were there too I decided to share with you my favourite part of my three favourite shows so far: The finales from INDIVIDUALS (AMFI), Bas Kosters, and Spijkers & Spijkers! I really hope you like them, and that you can feel the amazing vibe I felt with every show (though they are obviously totally different).
Amsterdam Fashion Week started with two amazing shows: Claes Iversen and Marga Weiers. Both showcased their unique views on fashion, without any clichés, and very fashion forward. I’ve written a review about the shows for Maybelline, you can find them here: Claes / Marga. This brings me also to the project I wanted to tell you about: the coming days I will upload many more reviews and backstage photos, as Maybelline is one of the reasons I am here! I’m working together with them the coming days, which is kind of super exciting!
A little while ago I told you about this website Vestiaire Collective, THE online destination for second-hand designers (and a few Zara items which got lost there as well). Most of you were happy surprised, but some (especially the French) complained (in a funny way) that I shared France ‘best-kept-secret’… To be honest, I discovered the website when it was still called Vestiaire de Copines, and I didn’t share my find with anyone for the exact same reason you guys were disappointed I shared it with you: More people knowing about it, means it will be harder to find those long loved Isabel Marant sneakers, or Chanel vintage bag. BUT you have to realise that this ALSO means there will be more people SELLING their items there! So from this point of view you will be happy I shared it… No?
This Isabel Marant feather sweater was one of the finds, next to the Isabel Marant skirt, on their website. I absolutely love the print and the colors, as it makes it easy to combine. It’s like you are wearing your boyfriends hoodie, but without the hoodie, and with a feminine touch. What do you say: Love the sweater, and convinced you have to shop at Vestiaire Collective? See you there ;)
I always like a good Breton shirt. It makes me feel French. And the funny thing is, people often think I am from France. Which I find a huge compliment. Why? Long story short: there is something with French women, their sense of style is so sophisticated, yet effortless. They can rock a simple jeans, white tee, and jacket as nobody can. So imagine how I feel when someone thinks I am French ;) For me this is the perfect casual look for an average Wednesday!
