What about this metallic blue eye-shadow? Cool isn’t it?! I got this amazing eye make-up from THE Maybelline make-up artist Clayton Leslie during Amsterdam Fashion Week. I normally never wear such bright colors on my eyes, but after the green watercolors from Maybelline I got on Amsterdam Fashion Week day 1 (see here), I was addicted to this amazing effect it gives. I still prefer the green color, but this blue definitely does the trick with an all black look. What do you say?

Another look from Amsterdam Fashion Week. Sorry that I am wearing these sneakers again, but it was from the point of view that I am running around all day taking photos, and that I didn’t want to ruin my feet in the process… I got a lot of questions about my t-shirt, people think I turned it inside-out, but fact of the matter is, it’s supposed to be this way. Almost all Zoe Karssen tees are like this. It kind of her signature.

Back to the shows! One show, Gestuz, was very special to me, as my sister was on the catwalk! I had never seen her in real-life on the catwalk, so I was over excited as you can imagine. See her below in the first photo!
Soon more looks and Fashion Week reviews, check them also out here, where I write for Maybelline!
When looking at my photos I think you notice that I am working with a different photographer, and I am sure you think you know her from somewhere… That’s true! Lisa works with Sabrina from AfterDRK, which is also how I got to know her. Cause let me tell you, when being away from my boyfriend, I am away from my usual photographer. So I needed a back-up plan for Amsterdam Fashion Week! Lisa did a really nice job don’t you think? Soon more…

Now back to the shows…
I have too much to share from the past days at Amsterdam Fashion Week. Way too many amazing photos and videos (read my catwalk reviews here). I simply don’t know where to start! So, to give you the idea you were there too I decided to share with you my favourite part of my three favourite shows so far: The finales from INDIVIDUALS (AMFI), Bas Kosters, and Spijkers & Spijkers! I really hope you like them, and that you can feel the amazing vibe I felt with every show (though they are obviously totally different).
A little while ago I told you about this website Vestiaire Collective, THE online destination for second-hand designers (and a few Zara items which got lost there as well). Most of you were happy surprised, but some (especially the French) complained (in a funny way) that I shared France ‘best-kept-secret’… To be honest, I discovered the website when it was still called Vestiaire de Copines, and I didn’t share my find with anyone for the exact same reason you guys were disappointed I shared it with you: More people knowing about it, means it will be harder to find those long loved Isabel Marant sneakers, or Chanel vintage bag. BUT you have to realise that this ALSO means there will be more people SELLING their items there! So from this point of view you will be happy I shared it… No?
This Isabel Marant feather sweater was one of the finds, next to the Isabel Marant skirt, on their website. I absolutely love the print and the colors, as it makes it easy to combine. It’s like you are wearing your boyfriends hoodie, but without the hoodie, and with a feminine touch. What do you say: Love the sweater, and convinced you have to shop at Vestiaire Collective? See you there ;)
No doubt this is THE perfect trend for fashionable moms; wearing trainers outside the gym, in a ‘normal’ look! Yesterday I showed you some fashionable women wearing Nike trainers in a not-sporty outfit, and I got quite some positive comments from you guys. Obviously not from everyone, because wearing trainers in this way has for some a negative connotation which they can’t get out of their minds. That’s okay. But for me, bless you god that I can wear, without feeling ridiculous, my neon trainers when I hop out with James to do groceries, hit Harrods, or run to the post office (to post all your orders from my SHOP). This doesn’t mean however that I am now wearing my trainers every day, PLUS my Isabel Marant high-tops are my all time favourites in terms of trainers, but these Nike’s come in quite handy! Thanks Andy and Susie for making it possible ;)
