Until the city is boiling hot – which I still can’t believe it will be rather soon – it’s chilly. Seriously, I can’t deal with the ever-changing New York weather. As I just left the house in this super Springy floral jacket (see my Insta stories), and realized, it was not really that warm. I mean, not that it’s cold out today, but just a cold breeze. One I didn’t dress properly for. So here’s that chunky knit, that you have seen me wearing all the time, and that was the cheapest and best purchase of last winter. It’s a miracle it’s still in such good condition considering the brand – do know, I put literally everything in the washing machine. Which only proves, if you look well and get the good fabrics, you will find those high-street gems! Anyway, with half of my Spring/Summer wardrobe out and ready to be worn, I still trow this knit on top of everything. Which makes basically for what I wear on those cold Spring days, everything, and then with this knit on top…
My favorite print this summer is definitely Chloe’s flower power print. I must admit I initially fell for the brown/nude version, but the style of this top was simply irresistible, so I splurged. I dressed it quite feminine with the navy cigaret-pants, but I could totally see myself with this top, and the color-coordinated skirt or a pair of flared jeans, and platform sandals. I say, let’s all add a little flower power to our wardrobes this summer, it’s been cold too long, and this will instantly add some heat…
With a gloomy start of the week, I look back at these images and almost can’t believe how hot it’s already been in New York. It’s crazy how the temperatures go up and down all the time. This is the time of year I usually fall ill with some sort of cold, because I’ve either been dressed too cold – thinking it was hot like it was the day before – or because Uber drivers love to switch on their ACs as soon as it’s a bit warmer… So I guess that makes for the perfect occasion to drape that little jacket on my shoulders, something pink, the colour I love so much lately…
Without any doubt, themost coveted bag this Spring/Summer: The Chanel Gabrielle bag. And I feel like the luckiest gal in the world for being able to wear them. You’ve probably seen me with that cute the little cross-body bag I have in black/white, but the nude/black backpack has not had its spotlight it deserves. Well, here it is. In the most beautiful natural spotlight I could have asked for…
Not would you ever expect that there’s something spicy going on in this look. Nothing sexy, not even close… but fact is, these boots are all the way up, up, UP. Because these Balenciaga over-the-knee boots are the super hot thigh high ones, which I will show – in some capacity – as they should be shown soon. I might just have to get a good scrub to get that winter skin going, and maybe a few rays of sunshine on my legs…
