THE DAY OFF
Yesterday I took a day off. A day off prepping a post for you – which I, so far, did in advance for after my surgery, as well as this shoot by the way. Because when you are doing something you love so very much, but you also have two kids and a husband who mean the world to you, you have to make sure to create an excellent work-life balance. Now that’s something I haven’t mastered completely yet. From far away, from your end, it pretty much looks like I did though, but trust me, I am also just a mom, running around trying to keep all balls up. It gives energy, it gives satisfaction, but it is exhausting. Hence the day off. Just doing nothing more than spending time with my loves, and oh I almost forgot; recovering. All will be fine in the end, just stand still for a moment and smile!
