On a sunny afternoon in Paris, just after the incredible Chloe FW15 show at Grand Palais, in this awesome denim look by See by Chloe. I’m still with my head in Paris, and really looking back at an amazing time. The shows were so mind-blowing – apart from the fact I’ve been to so many shows that were on my wish list, and I could now finally see with my own eyes. This, and the great images I always get as a souvenir, make being away from the kids totally worth it. I missed them like crazy of course, but being a working mommy makes me a good mommy. Fact.
One of the most beautiful moments during Paris Fashion Week was my fitting at the Maison Valentino Headquarters. It was a dream coming true, and that moment I walked into this beautiful room filled with all the Valentino pieces I’ve ever dreamed off was insane. Obviously there were too many options, and it felt quite overwhelming… “where do I start?” crossed my mind a hundred times, at least! I decided to start with choosing a color and take it from there…
Or shall I say “odd shades” because – so it seems on my instagram – you find it rather hard to “appreciate” them. I understand where you’re coming from, because they are quite odd at first, and definitely not suitable for everyone – and I’m not saying they are with me – but I simply love them because of that. They are so unusual that they quickly became my favorite pair, and still are. Wearing my hair like this makes perhaps make it even a more obvious “hard shape” to pull off, I realized that whenever I wore my hair blow-dried down it was a much bigger success in your eyes. But no matter what’s the case, let us agree on disagreeing, and embrace the fact that fashion allows us to be our true selves. Paris… I miss you big time, can’t wait for next season!
While my mind is still in Paris, at the incredible shows I’ve seen, the super inspiring street style was surround by, and my lovely roommate, I’m working my way through a huge amount of outfit photos. For the first time during a fashion week abroad, I haven’t been update my blog, but took you with me on Instagram. A much less stressful way to share my Fashion Week experiences…
