It’s no secret Thomas and I got married before we moved to New York, neither is the fact that our wedding was a very lovely but formal happening, without the dress and the venue, nor were our family and friend around us. So on that special moment, when we told each other to love and be loved forever, we also made the promise to start planning the wedding as soon as we got to New York. Well, a lot can happen in a year… but the good news is, we are on the right path, and we are actually slowly starting to think about what we like, and where we like it to happen. Super exciting, and obviously the weddings we attend are amazing sources of inspiration. Now one of the key questions obviously is: What dress will I wear…
Jenny Packham is one of my favorite bridal designers – I assure you, I’m not paid to say this, I just happen to be lucky to work with them – and also for wedding guests they have a ton of beautiful gowns to pick from. I’ve styled two of my favorite dresses for the summer wedding season, but in a little bit of a controversial way…
First in line this soft pink embellished 20s style dress. Most of you who saw my selfie on Instagram thought I was wearing a shirt, but here it is in full swing. And since I love love LOVE editorials where gowns and sneakers are clashing to the point they totally compliment each other, I decided that was they way to go for my blog posts. When I was wearing it to one of my best friends’ wedding last weekend, I wore it in combination with silver Jimmy Choo sling backs, and a mint green Celine pouch. Best dressed wedding guest, thanks to Jenny ;)
