One classic Elie Tahari coat, styled three ways: day, evening, and weekend. Biggest challenge for me was to not go for the usual versatile black & navy combination with all three looks.
Starting with my “Day-look”. This is what I would wear to the office, or to a meeting. I love the stone red details in combination with the navy and denim, very unexpected. You’ve seen me wearing a lot of pastels lately, but this color combination definitely wins with my blond hair when the days are getting darker.
My “Evening-look” where I actually did combine navy and black, simply because this feels so right at night… You wouldn’t find me wearing a little black dress when hitting town, especially not with these unbearably cold New York temperatures! A few of my favorite wardrobe staples thrown in the mix to get the ultimate luxe feeling, without having to go all dressed up, and it’s a great look to wear from office till dinner.
And my last look, when you scroll down a little, is my “Weekend-look”. Simple, yet a little polished, and perfect for a lazy Village brunch, or some shopping in Soho. The patent Oxfords give a little extra to this look, as well as the mix of luxurious fabrics and rich colors. The lime sleeves – one of the jumpers I’m living in at the moment – are a bit cheeky, I like that.
