Awaiting my radiation therapy in two weeks – starting today with a low iodine diet which literally makes that I’ll be eating super healthy, only home-cooked meals, and no sneaky midnight popcorn eating allowed – I’m planning our Holiday to the sun, a beach, and as many palm trees as possible. We need it. And if timing could have been any better, my favorite Australian bikini brand Seafolly have collaborated with Panama to present their new collection: Seafolly x Panama. Now you might be like me with your head dug deep into knitwear, but trust me, you really want to see the way they’re presenting their new collection… It’s art meeting swimwear…
Now obviously I’ve teamed up with Seafolly and on my next holiday and I will be shooting my favorite styles – shown in the photo. Until then I really wanted you to see their unique way of presenting the Spring/Summer 15 collection, in which they’ve shifted from the girl next door model looking way too perfect on a beach to a rather dark and edgy introduction, slowly flowing into the beautiful beach setting we all love. Their eye for detail and feel for trends – using long wool coats, socks in brogues – are impeccably incorporated in the new video. Not to mention the beautiful music by Panama – Australia’s hot new music export – they’ve surely taken a different turn in showing us their new collection, and I must say that I’m truly impressed. Never have I had a feel for swimwear campaigns, simply because I’m not like the girl in the ad, nor do I want to be, but now it almost feels as if this video was made especially for me. Because they know what I like, and how I like it. Of course this remains a matter of taste, but I couldn’t hold this back from you. I would love to hear your thoughts!
