Apart from one more look that Jason shot before surgery number two, photos from now on will be me including my awesome scar. Now this might sounds a bit exaggerating, because why would I call my scar awesome? A scar isn’t beautiful, is it? Well, to be honest, I think it is beautiful. I love it, because it stands for a moment in my life where all the unnecessary shit became truly irrelevant, and only the real important stuff stayed – people, situations, and relations. The unexpected amount of emails I got from the most unexpected people have been amazing. You have no idea how much this meant to me, and still does. I also love my scar because until so far I’ve stayed calm and collected, remained acting as the best mommy, wife, and friend I could possibly be, kept inspiring you, and in the mean time fought cancer. Obviously I’m not there yet, but this does give my great energy for what’s coming.
So yeah, at the moment I feel pretty good. I have more and more energy every day, I’m slowly getting back into the usual day-to-day routines, and I look forward to great stuff that’s going to happen the coming months. One of these is of course New York Fashion Week! My first ever, can you believe it?! Anyway, because the radiation will take place end of September, beginning of October, I won’t be traveling to Europe for any shows. Sad of course, I mean, I hate to miss my most favorites such as Valentino and Barbara Bui, but New York looks promising. Many backstage moments, a dairy about Zoe Jordan’s first time showing at New York Fashion Week’s Milk Studios – from casting till catwalk – and most importantly, I have great friends coming over.
Although my voice makes it still almost impossible to talk, please make sure to say ‘HI’ when you bump into me. You will be surprised how quick you’ll learn to read my lips, and understand my sexy low voice…
