4 days, 4 cities, 35 red cars, and 70 women… Sabrina (AfterDRK) and I have joined forces with these women and will be driving the charity rally Cash & Rocket from Venice to Geneva, Paris, and finishing in London to raise money for three charity’s in Africa all under the umbrella of The Marwyn Trust.
Now I know that many of you are aware of this – instagram countdown helluw – but there is way more money to be raised!
So why should you give? Well, that’s simple, because we can do something for women who are less fortunate than we are. The Marwyn Trust works hand-in-hand with Shine on Sierra Leone, OrphanAid Africa and Sumbandila to help fund life-changing projects in Sierra Leone, Ghana and the Limpopo Province of South Africa which greatly improve the quality of life for young children and their communities. Being a mom I can now more than ever imagine how painful it must be to not being able to support for your family. I personally have worked with non-profit organizations on and off – remember Uganda – because I believe that even though it feels your input won’t make a difference, if we put in a little bit all together, difference will be made.
One more time, and then I will not ask you again – I promise – PLEASE donate every little bit you can. Whether it’s $1 or €10 or £100, Sabrina and I are more than thankful, but most importantly, the women and children in Africa will be thankful forever.
