I am a very late adopter of the ‘ruffle-trend’ but this doesn’t mean I didn’t like it from the moment Balenciaga showed its monochrome ruffled pieces. It’s just that only recently I found the perfect pieces (a top, shown on Instagram before), and this dress. Best part, it works very well with my baby-bump, AND the warm weather we are still (and very happily) experiencing in London. Coming days I won’t touch down London though, but I will be away to shoot for a Jimmy Choo’s Stylemakers on Dutch grounds. Yet another very exciting project, especially since the shoes and bags arrived yesterday evening, and when I unpacked them this morning, I almost died of excitement. I wish my body allowed me to wear them all every day, right now. But that won’t be a healthy thing to do, so until then I will make sure to style them in the most appealing way (for you) and I will start wearing them as soon as my little girl is brought into this world. I bet she will love those shoes too…
