Until we meet again… because Anouk and I are going to be separated for a little while. Why? Simply because this is non-pregnancy material. I mean, my god, I really had to learn how to walk with these beauties. My normal 8cm heel is nothing compared to these. They are really comfortable to sit with and they look amazing from every ankle… But walking was a bit of a fight at first sight.
No, without joking, I always have to give myself and my new shoes some time to get to know each other, which was exactly the case when Anouk and I met. We had to get used to being close. In the beginning it felt like it was never going to work… you know, like you don’t know how to put one foot in front of the other without looking like a duck, and your ankles almost feel like they are going to bend over. But after a while me and my new beauties knew how to deal with each other. We made some simple rules so we both would stay happy: No long walks, preferably only worn to fancy restaurants, or when going next door to have a drink. However, one thing we forgot about when we met (because I wasn’t having a big bump yet)… this all is not going to work out anyway cause I am expecting a little one. It’s not even healthy for a female body at some point, trust me. So while sweeping away a little tear, I put them back in their dust bags. Until we meet again Anouk, until mommy’s back to ‘normal’.
I am wearing Jimmy Choo Anouk heels, a Zara blazer (similar here) and Zara jeans (similar here), the top is H&M Trend (similar here), the bag Proenza Schouler, and my sunglasses by Prada.
