Elegant meets casual. If you ask me; THE perfect combination. Plus, when being a mom it doesn’t mean you have to be casual looking every moment of the day. NOT AT ALL. Of course I am not running around on these heels while feeding James and changing his nappy, especially not during a holiday. BUT it doesn’t mean I am never wearing those anymore! I love to dress up, and after 6PM, I try to do so every now and then. Even if it is only for dinner, or a drink next to the pool. It’s just to remind myself that next to a mommy, I am also a 27 year girl, who loves wrap-skirts and strappy heels ;)

This little red dress is one of my pool-essentials. The vibrant color, the simple design, and the length made me want this dress every time I saw it. However, because the weather in London was/is so bad, I never bought it cause I wouldn’t have a reason to wear it. But, when this last-minute sun-holiday was booked, I had a reason! So I rushed to the store and got it! Best buy in many ways: Price (it was a bargain), the elegance of a simple one-piece like this, and it’s so wearable (even with a baby). I’m off to the pool again, working my tan…

I love to get on a photo with a motorbike, but that is as far as it goes for me. I have no dream or passion to drive one. Although Keira looked pretty sexy in her nude Chanel biker suit whilest driving on a motorbike through Paris… Maybe it’s the fashion that comes with motorbikes that appeals to me… I don’t know. Anyway, this look has nothing to do with biker boots, biker jackets or whatsoever, just with me posing in front of a motorbike, because the colors matched so well with my look! Numbers, red, oversized, high tops, I think a good combination. What about you?

I took these photos yesterday when it was, totally unexpected nor forecasted, sunny! So I am not going against nature and have bare legs when it’s actually too cold for it (as you might think seeing today’s weather). We spend our day in Notting Hill yesterday, strolling around Portobello (not on Portobello – you should avoid that on a Saturday, unless you can deal with the amount of people there), looking for cool furniture. Lucky as we were, we found THE perfect dining table! Exactly what we were looking for; robust, and rustic. How did you spend your Saturday, and do you have any plans for today? We have a lazy day in I think… although we might go out for a walk IF it ever stops raining… argh!
Oh, by the way, what do you think of my new skirt? I found it the other day at Zara and it reminded me of the metallics from the S/S12 collection from Isabel Marant. Obviously I loved it…
