From the warm sun of Miami we go right back into the freezing cold of New York. Or actually, it’s not that bad anymore! What has January in store for us? Is this a good sign? Does this mean we won’t get a horrendous winter? Or are we just waiting for it to start? In any case, I have my “polar material” ready!
Many doors have opened since I’ve started blogging, but there are always things I keep dreaming about. For example, I would love to go to a Chanel fashion show, or Celine, or shooting pieces from Chloe for Thefashionguitar.com perhaps? Well… I guess I’ve been a good girl this year so far…
Remember, ages ago, I tried on this denim Isabel Marant coat and posted it on Instagram? If you do, you might also remember it looked more like a bathrobe than a coat – in that fitting room. It still pretty much does when I wear it in the house, but come on, let’s give it a little more credit than that. It’s pretty beautifully made, amazing denim fabric, cut-off sleeves. Not your usual bathrobe, right?
I’ve been a secret admirer of the all-knit look from the moment it became big with Celine, and shortly with the shameless duplicates from Zara. However, because I saw the real-deal, and perfect-steal, on literally every blogger out there, I decided to not buy this perfect knitted pants. Didn’t miss it in my wardrobe, but when I bumped into it during a little Sale shopping, I couldn’t resist…
No doubt every girl – after seeing the Chloe SS15 campaign, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in California – wants to be part of the #chloeGIRLS movement. Bohemian and dreamy, flou dresses, modern boho bags, and oversize round sunnies. A little bit of denim here and there, the perfect and very feminine gladiator sandals, embodied by the beautiful Caroline Trentini and Eniko Mihalik. My personal favorite, and also highlighted in this campaign: the iconic Drew bag. Very high on my wish list for Spring!
