The holiday season is upon us, and as trivial as it sounds – and might actually be after the horrible events that happened over the past weeks – I believe we should keep celebrating joyful moments together. Hence I teamed up with one of my favorite contemporary brands, and put together the perfect holiday wardrobe.

It’s funny, I always say I don’t wear color, but when I scroll down on my blog feed, I do actually wear quite some. It might not be in extremes, color blocking will – as much as I love the idea – never be me, but give me a pair of red sunglasses, a yellow bag, or green shoes and I’m a happy girl!
From all the winter coats I like and wear, my wardrobe has always been lacking that one perfect down jacket. One that goes well with my skirts, my dresses, and favorite pair of jean. One that doesn’t destroys my look by it’s looks – because let’s be honest, the warmer they get, the less fashionable they become… unless you are wearing fur perhaps? But that is a sensitive topic, one that we are definitely not discussing today… Actually, I’m going to stay away from it for as long as I can and stock my winter wardrobe with these perfect little down jackets, because yes, they do exist!
I’ve been wearing these culottes non-stop, they are that good. The silver fabric, the rough hems, do I need to say more? Okay well, I can say more, and I will, because I wouldn’t do them justice by leaving you after just one sentence. I love the culottes most of all because it’s the perfect sparkle in my rather casual weekday attire. I love wearing navy knits, and I have challenged myself – failed today though – to not wear those with my favorite jeans, like I do most of the time. I need to make more fun during the week too, right?
