My most recent Haute Couture week in Paris was a little extra special than it usually is, because this time not only the dreamy shows and beautiful dresses made it to an unforgettable week, but even more the fact that I had James and Stella, and my lovely husband by my side. And the reason they travelled with me this time was the kids’ invitation to their very first fashion show: Bonpoint Spring-Summer 2017. And they’ve been talking about it ever since…
Getting back on track with my search for “the perfect watch” – which I committed myself to at the start of this summer – and slowly getting to the point where I know what I like AND – most importantly – what suits me, watch-wise… Cause you might remember, I have very special requirements when it comes to the size and the style of a watch. My pickiness goes as far as me rejecting to wear a watch at all, until I find the perfect one…
This has to be the best Elie Saab look I’ve ever had the chance to wear to one of their shows – Haute Couture and RTW! A “Period-feel” with the leather details on the skirt, combined with romantic lace. See-through, yet almost completely covered-up. It’s Monday, I’m bored with my wardrobe – mainly due to the fact that I have to do my laundry, and ALL my cool clothes are in that laundry basket – so I started to scroll to my favorite online store’s final clearance section… Things that I clicked to my shopping basket, all in ways of full looks, because I’ve learned the hard way that buying random cool pieces resulted in not knowing how to wear them… Now I only need to decide on which look… and obviously I’d love to hear your thoughts! Which one should I click home? And more importantly, which one is your personal favorite!
I’ve been called looking like a shaved cucumber wearing this dress… Yes! Really! I truly don’t understand why “people out there” can compare something so beautiful with a cucumber!?! Maybe it was me… I don’t know, but let’s be honest, you don’t have to be into fashion, nor loving-it-to-bits like I do, to understand the beauty of a piece like this. Anyway, haters will be haters, and fortunately it was only on The New York Time Fashion’s Instagram this trolling person acted out. Green of envy of course lol. That’s how I like to see it…
