If you’re like me, Black Friday freaks you out. It’s just too much pressure, too many website, and WAAAAY too many things I suddenly want to have. With a million tabs opened on my Mac, I end up closing all of them before I actually make it to the “Check-out”. Such as shame, because this means I’m missing out on it all. Or do I not.. I figured, if it’s meant to be – and with a little bit of luck – the product I really wanted is still there, the day after. I call it Post Black Friday Cheats. And I was so right! Favorites from High-Street and High-End brands are there for grabs!
What a dream to walk into the fitting of a Valentino show, and walk out of it in a beyond beautiful Valentino AW16 dress. I think I will never get used to that feeling. And I never want to. It’s a dream coming true over and over. A little stress I had before the show though, because as you can see, the dress is pretty much completely see through. Not a problem really, apart from the fact you need the perfect underwear to wear under it. I found a great body, but not “perfect”. I was not 100% happy with how the top part looks as you can see it pretty clear under the dress – and when you see the runway photos, you see there’s nothing really visible worn underneath… But as much as I would have rather had it that way, there won’t be any freeing of the nipples from my end! Not this season at least…
Thomas would totally crack up if he would know how this jacket is called. He would say the jacket is called after me, and found his rightful owner once it came of the runway. I would laugh about it, and people who know me well would know what he means…
One of my latest features is this little “Fall Favorites” Edit in ELLE Denmark. Shot at home, wearing current favorites – which are not all new season picks, but also all time favorites of mine – and pieces we should all have, in some form, in our wardrobe this Fall. So here’s a little shopping edit, inspirational images, AND most of it pretty much on Clearance – yup it has started, Sale Season is on, and started with The Outnet… Which basically means sale on top op already much reduced pieces… Best way to start your weekend, right!
There are those moments in life where you know you’ve accomplished something you always longed for, it makes you feel ecstatic, and fulfilled. I had that when I gave birth to James, and after that, to Stella. No wonder, because fact is, one of the biggest accomplishments in life is pushing a tiny human being out of you! Trust me on that one! But next to accomplishments in life, there are also high business accomplishments. There’ve been many dream collaborations, and even more amazing shows. First Valentino, then Chloe, and then a dream turned into reality when Chanel came on that list. Needless to say, one of those ecstatic moments.
