Meanwhile back home… My initial plan was shoot these two looks while we were skiing in Canada. When that didn’t work out due to logistics, I figured I could shoot it in a park after it snowed to create the perfect urban ski-editorial. But it didn’t snow… not one single day. Not over the Holidays, not in the New Year…I saw my whole plan melt away like snow on a sunny day.
So as you might have figured out by now, we are here in Paris with the four of us for the Bonpoint Fall-Winter 2017 show. And aside from my Instagram and Instastories exploding with photos from Stella and James in their current Fall-Winter collection, I will be live-streaming the show tomorrow, Wednesday 25th January 2017, 16.30PM CET (10.30AM EST), here on Thefashionguitar.com! So make sure you tune in to see the cutest and happiest show of the season…
There’s a first time for everything… and so is for attending the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2017 show. I’m beyond excited and can’t wait to see the collection with my own eyes. Make sure to tune in tomorrow, Monday 23rd January, at 8.30AM EST or 2.30PM CET and watch it live with me…

The clothes – of which many pieces look nothing less than you would see on a couture runway – styled to perfection; pleated skirts with knee-socks, velvet smocked dresses, and boys jackets Thomas would be jealous of… No wonder the audience can’t stop smiling with every look that comes down the festive runway. It’s most likely the only fashion show at which the front row seems to actually enjoy the show, no matter how long the show may take – because funny fact is, it’s the longest fashion show I’ve ever been to too.
Two things I love during cold winter days are 1. the feel of my bare face in the sun, while staying warm with 2. the ultimate beanie. Unfortunately I don’t feel confident enough to go makeup less every day of the week, especially not when I’ve had a night without much sleep – read: two toddlers in-between Thomas and me, who decide it’s morning around 3AM. But luckily we have sunglasses, and I wear those when not wearing any make-up on. Or, in today’s case, I make sure my photographer captures me with just the right amount of light on my face…
