There’s five trends that are dominating my Spring/Summer wardrobe: first of all – obviously – the “Festival-trend” – did any of you go to the first Coachella weekend? How was it! – with some sophisticated boho, showing not too much skin, but lots of colors and patterns, and of course happy strappy sandals. Then there’s the “Color-pop” which I translate mostly to the shoes I wear. Bright slides and low heels, in suede or patent leather. Third and definitely one of my absolute favorites…
Back from Costa Rica and holding on to those holiday vibes so badly! Although more in Positano-ways than the Costa Rican… Or in fact, maybe that headband does add a little of that Central American beauty. Because oh boy, did I fall in love with that country. Even though we were there only for a couple of days, it was enough to completely go mad for it! But… we are back, and that means back to work. Nothing bad about that, I luckily still LOVE – almost – every single bit of it, but as always after a vacation, there SO MUCH work to do!! The best part about that is shooting new looks, Spring looks to be precise. And kicking of with a perfect sunny spring office look!
There is sort of one way to wear a cross-body bag, but there’s actually two ways of wearing the Chanel Gabrielle cross body bag. And being one of the luckiest girls in the world to own one of the new Chanel bags, I wanted to show you how that “other way” works. Needless to say, a Chanel bag goes with everything, but the more casual the outfit, the better. Or at least, in my opinion. So technically the bag has one long chain to wear it as a cross-body, but you will see when you wear it long like that, it’s a bit of an odd length. For a good reason, though, because there needed to be a tiny bit extra to make it work as it was intended…
Not would you ever expect that there’s something spicy going on in this look. Nothing sexy, not even close… but fact is, these boots are all the way up, up, UP. Because these Balenciaga over-the-knee boots are the super hot thigh high ones, which I will show – in some capacity – as they should be shown soon. I might just have to get a good scrub to get that winter skin going, and maybe a few rays of sunshine on my legs…
I love this look for so many reasons. I did back then – in January when I attended the Valentino Pre-Fall 2017 show in New York – and I still do today. But the funny thing was that that particular morning before the show, a thought crossed my mind – only for a few seconds – something along the line of “is this too much?” I almost never doubt any of my looks, especially not when a look feels so “me”, but the bright pink hair made me wonder… To much pink? To many prints clashing? Is my free interpretation of the Valentino Resort collection was a bit “too free”?
