Don’t you have that too, when you are somewhere and they play that one song, it takes you back to a specific moment in life that impacted you deeply; that summer love, a childhood Sunday morning memory, simply feeling that is indescribable… The same goes, for me, with scents. I know this sounds a tad strange, but trust me, I’m only referring to the good scents, and the good moments in my life that they bring up.

Oh my god, we are already halfway through September! New York and London Fashion Weeks are behind us, Milan still in full swing, and the first day of school has passed. Whenever I get back to you after a – too long – blog absence I feel like starting with that thing where we say the cliché “where did the time go”. I care a lot about my skin, so the journey to find the perfect skin care routine is never really over. The past years I’ve tried many different beauty products, some were extremely expensive, but didn’t give me what I was looking for, others were simple drug store brands and did the trick. I believe it doesn’t matter what brand is on the bottle, but that you use what works for your skin, what gives you that amazing glow, and helps in getting closer to that “perfect skin” feeling. Okay, I swapped the Birkenstocks for these “first of its kind” Gucci loafers – I didn’t even know Birkenstocks were in Vogue in the 90s – and I didn’t race with a leopard while wearing a leopard printed bathing suit –I did wear an animal printed bathing suit this weekend actually, yet I didn’t move an inch – but I did keep it khaki, belted oddly high in the waist, and took the sunset as my preset…
