THE CASH & ROCKET CHARITY

Charlotte Groeneveld by Barbara de Hosson | THEFASHIONGUITAR

It’s been quiet, I know… but the reasons were obvious: hectic packing for Europe, preparing the house to leave, actually leaving the kids behind – the real hard part – and making sure I was on track and prepared for the Cash & Rocket tour. Today it has officially started in the amazing city of Venice where I got to meet all other participating women. Beautiful, friendly, but above all very inspirational. The spirits are up, the drive to raise even more money than we’ve already done –  over £300.000 – is bigger than ever. If you haven’t donated yet, there is still time!

SOHO, NEW YORK

Charlotte Groeneveld by Barbara de Hosson | THEFASHIONGUITAR

A returning topic is/will be, depends on you noticing or not, the masculinity of in latest looks – today and the first of New York in 6 Looks. Now there are two reasons for this behaviour: 1. I have still no access to my full wardrobe, hence I am borrowing stuff from Thomas 2. I love the masculine lines, especially on top, when sleeves are cut of just over the shoulder cap. I have to save Thomas in regards to this denim vest though, because it is not from his wardrobe! No offense to the boyfriends and husbands of which this is their wardrobe staple, in Thomas’ case, it’s far from that. So where were we, ah masculinity, okay so when you wear something borrowed from your other half, or when you’ve bought a masculine staple like a shirt or vest, make sure to put a very feminine touch to your look somewhere. You don’t want to end up looking like your man, do you? Now I know you are not all here to get my style-advise, some of you might love my New York stories more, well I promise I will tell you all about the past days as soon as I find time to sit down, quietly, and write. It’s still a matter of time, but it looks like things are going to change…
