VALENTINE’S DURING NYFW

Fossil Q Activity tracker

There’s something I want to share with you… Something that intrigued me for such a long time that I finally decided to act on: tracking my steps. Just out of curiosity, and as a confirmation that my life as it is, consist of lots – enough – “activity”. Meaning, I don’t have time to hit the gym, because I’m already “running” around enough. However, to confirm this, I had to actually track my steps. And so I did it…

But this didn’t happen if it weren’t for little mister Valentine… On this romantic day filled with candy hearts and lots of chocolate, feeling and being in shape is something I like to work towards. Not for Thomas, but for me, because when I feel good, he’s happy, and so we are both. We usually don’t spend Valentine’s together though, because I’m always – as I am now – away for Fashion Week, but from wherever we are, we sort of connect and treat each other with a little something.

This time it was me who treated me and I tried the Fossil Q Dreamer “activity tracker”. Especially interesting to wear during Fashion Weeks, because I’ve always wondered how much I actually do run around during these hectic days. It turns out that a gym membership would be overrated, and if I would do one fashion week every month, I would burn equally as much calories as when spending an hour a day on a home-trainer.
