Are you heading out to get some coffee? You’re lucky when you’re in New York, because I’m about to tell you where you can get THE BEST cappuccino of this city…
We can argue about this, and I’m definitely open to get every suggestion on best coffee places in New York, but it’s going to be a though game winning from my absolute favorite: Saturdays New York City.
With two New York locations – Lower Manhattan and the West Village – and two in Japan this surf shop/coffee bar has won my love after I had my first coffee there two months ago. It’s like one of those places where everything comes together: great atmosphere, great people, great stuff to buy, and then… the coffee. So why is this the best coffee? I’m not sure, I’m no barista, nor a coffee genius, but I do trust completely on my taste buttons and super nose. But let me try to explain how it tastes, and then you have to go there yourself to tell me if you agree. Promise? Ok, so, I like its rich taste, not too strong – I sometimes ask for an extra shot – yet not too milky. I hate those latte’s who call themselves cappuccino’s. Yuk. Then the foam is firm, just enough, and doesn’t taste like milk. Huh? Yes, and that’s a good thing. Trust me.
Oh and if you like surfing, this place sells amazing surf boards and gear, so I was told. Now I’m open for all your arguments about why your coffee place is the best there is, and I might try it out soon!! Happy weekend.
