I’m not entirely sure if time is on my side, because I never seem to have enough of it, but what I do know is that I love this song by The Stones. Talking about time, for the first time in like a year – or maybe even longer – I’m wearing a watch. Not just a watch, no no no no a huge watch. One that makes sure you’ll be on time. A great thing when you are on the move all the time in a city that never sleeps. Which is also one of the things that I love about New York, it’s always ‘open’. Not like London where pubs close at 11pm. Don’t get me wrong, I still love London, but I’m more a 24-hour kind of girl. I like the convenience factor over here. Thomas always makes fun of me that I’m making myself crazy over things running inconveniently.
Oh well, now you’ve met one of my compulsive sides. Convenience, saving time, doing things good but without spending a second more than necessary, that’s me too. Or isn’t this that weird? Especially when you are a mom and working fulltime? Maybe it’s the only way to do it. Maybe it’s the only way to make sure time is on my side…
