My d-tour to the more colorful side of my wardrobe became a further d-tour to the far floral corners. I really can’t remember the last time I’ve worn something floral – can you – but in any case, with wedding-season in full swing, I thought it would be the perfect timing to start wearing summer-florals, again.
Last week I attended the MoMa Party in the Garden event with Nexxus New York Salon Care. Before attending the event, I visited the Nexxus New York Salon in Tribeca for a styling session. Having my hair styled is one of those things that always feel like such a treat! A good wash, the perfect blow-dry, and then leaving with perfectly styled hair is a great beginning to a much anticipated evening.
I have so many denim love stories to tell, they go deep and are so honest. I think there’s nothing I like to wear more than a good denim combination, and never in my whole life would I erase these indigo, washed, or ripped pieces from my wardrobe. Though I go through phases in liking a certain type or style of denim…
The perfect dress for a hot summer day in New York. Not sure where those days went actually, cause the past few days it’s been cold. Really cold! I’ve been wearing knits again, can you believe it? Anyway, it’s an exciting day today, as I have expanded my team with one awesome girl, who I will introduce to you very soon. Then tonight I’m co-hosting the New Yorkers for Nepal cocktail event to raise funds for Nepal earthquake relief. If you would like to come – or just donate – you can still purchase a ticket online, or just come over and pay at the door – Carini Lang on 335 Greenwich Street! Hope to see you tonight!
The backpack-trend did, and didn’t get me at the same time. I have been wearing them every now and then, but I always struggled with the size or the color. Often they were too big to just “throw on”, or not big enough to put, for example, my laptop in. Although I never really put in an effort to find one that really suited me and my preferences, I still kept an eye on the one that I loved from the start: The Louis Vuitton backpack. Just big enough for my phone and card holder, and light enough to carry next to my laptop.
