Because of the pouring rain on a Sunday that started so sunny (which ruined my photo shoots) I needed some serious fashion inspiration. I came across this photo, oh boy how much I LOVE this photo, a few weeks ago when browsing on the Man Repeller’s blog. Their looks, just perfect… So effortless.

One of my favorite bloggers is Caroline from Carolines Mode. Her style is rather basic, BUT she always wears exactly the key-pieces, must-haves, or whatever you want to call it. Her love for labels is reflected quite well in her looks. Isabel Marant, Balenciaga, and Chloe are often featured. And even though I can’t afford all the pieces she wears, her outfit posts give me lots of inspiration! Moreover, I’ve briefly met her and she is just as sweet as she looks. Together with her hubby, photographer for Stockholm Streetstyle (another of my favorite blogs), she travels the world between Fashion Weeks, collaborations, and other cool stuff. Anyway, if you’ve never checked her blog (which is hard to believe), promise me to do it now. You won’t regret it!

This gorgeous French woman, editor of Vogue Paris, is my Paris Fashion Week icon. With Paris Fashion Week about to start, which I will not attend this season (BOEHOE, but for a good reason: James), we can all use some effortless Paris streetstyle inspiration. And although Paris, as fashion capital of the world, is also known for its super on-trend-stylish streetstyle, I thought (with in the back of my mind running from show to show) simplicity is key. And here yet another reason for crowning Emanuelle Alt as Fashion Week icon: she always rocks simple looks. Here another one…

With all heads turned to New York Fashion Week, I want to prepare myself for my fashion week: London Fashion Week! Not that New York Fashion Week should be ignored, on the contrary, but since London Fashion Week starts Friday already, I need to prepare. How better to prepare with one of London’s (and mine) fashion icons in mind, Burberry’s face: Cara Delevingne. When I still worked at ASOS, I saw her often in our canteen inbetween her shoots, and I can say she is truely gorgeous… my girl crush. Anyway, this look is one of my favorites, and since it’s still cold in London, it could be a good one to wear coming week!
