Since I received quite some emails about the lipsticks I am using recently, I thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to just dedicate one post to it. Well, here it comes…

Last week I did an Isabel Marant S/S12 jeans DIY (see HERE), and now I can finally show you the ‘real-life’ view! I love how the dyeing totally pimps a simple jeans, and think of how easy it is to do! We’ve all done it before (reading your comments on the DIY post), so I would say, go for it again!
Today’s I’ve created a more fall look, wearing the jeans with my (new) tuxedo blazer, but I can’t wait till I can pair it up with a sporty Isabel Marant shirt, and some strappy heels… XO

I love the idea of dyeing your own clothes, and we saw this a lot last summer with the hippy Woodstock colored t-shirts and shorts. However, checking out Isabel Marant’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, as well as others (e.g. Sea New York) it’s clear there will be a lot more dyeing coming season! And when you don’t have the money for an origional Isabel Marant, make sure you have a dark denim or red jeans, bleach, some elastic bands, and you will Do It Yourself! I LOVE the result, what about you? Check the similarity with the Isabel Marant one!! I will shoot a look with it coming weekend (and by the way, this will be my first jeans for after giving birth to my boy)!
My next project: the red jeans (almost bought it at Zara yesterday… but wanted to try the one Elin Kling is wearing first). XO
Ps. My sister is visiting me from today till Sunday!! So I am off to do lots of high-teaing, shopping, and chatting!!

This is not a DIY I came up with myself, I saw this jeans ripping on one of my favorite blogs The Man Repeller. And because I was so sick of my boring straight leg maternity jeans, which I wasn’t wearing anymore due to this, I thought is might pimp it just so that it’s nice to wear again! Well, what do you think?! The front split is famous because of the Nowhere trousers from Elin Kling, but there wasn’t a jeans version yet, till The Man Repeller made it! Thanks a lot for this great, and super easy DIY idea. Oh and the ripped knee… well, that was my idea, just to make it more edgy, but it’s nothing. XO
