Yesterday James and I flew to Amsterdam. Good lord, going to the gym is nothing compared to flying with James… Not that I remember how a gym looks like, but that’s a whole other story… Back to our journey: Literally everything has to be folded in and out (table), opened and closed (window blind), and preferably every single page of every single magazine available in all of the three chairs in our row have to be flipped over. Now you might think “perfect, at least your boy is enjoying himself and not screaming if he’s about to die”. Well yes, of course, James enjoys himself a lot, but let me tell you that all the above activities go while jumping on my lap, oh no let me rephrase, on my belly! And the best part is the part where we go up and are landing. In this part of the amazing journey of “flying with a one year old” you have to be able to keep the little one sitting in your lap, with a little safety-belt around his waist, attached to your own belt. I can tell you, that is the worst part, cause how in the world is a kid going to sit down in your lap for that long… My James doesn’t…

Oh boy, you have no idea how happy I was when I heard I had a whole row for myself yesterday. At least James could do all the above from his own seat, next to his own window. The going up and landing part remained a nice work-out for mommy, but for all the rest of the flight I could for the first time enjoy my drink and read a magazine (as long as he had his own) while up in the air!

I am wearing a Burberry jacket, Zara t-shirt (similar here), Paige jeans, Zara heels, and Celine sunglasses.
