On my wishlist for Fashion Week month…
Fashion Week month is almost starting, which means we have to start preparing our looks! And even if you are not going to any shows, it’s worth to hangout at the show venues to see and get seen, and of course photograph all the cool people. I will almost certainly go to Paris, of course London (with you? See here how), and maybe even New York (you can still help me get there, and you might join).
My Fashion Week essentials come down to the following: First, very important even in times where iPads and iPhones have taken over, is this Fashion Week notebook. It is in fact THE notebook for reporting from New York, Paris, Milan, and London (see the cover). Then we need a suit, borrowed from the boys, but oh-so-feminine. Or, if I am not in for a suit, I go for a metallic skirt, of course metallic, and a printed sweater. definitely accompanied with a statement necklace and bracelet. Ankle boots with an elegant heel are high on my wish-list, hence on my package-list. Clutches might seem unhandy, but I love carrying around one. This is one of my favorites for fall; Great size, color, and text!! If I want to go a little more casual I use the trousers from the suit and combine it with a simple sweater, like a funny moustache one. Goes also very well with the statement jewellery, ankle boots, and clutch.
Anyway, key is to get items that can be combined. This makes 1. your suitcase less heavy 2. your clothes less wrinkled, and 3. it’s easier to decide what to wear!
