WAR ZONE

I apologize in advance to everyone who absolutely loves the Notting Hill Carnival. I am sure there are many nice places to go to during this two-day festival, BUT when you live around the corner from DJ Pineapple, who started his rave party at 1pm, attracting 16-year-olds doing drugs under our window (lucky we live on the third floor), you will feel differently. The gorgeous, Brazillian-inspired (if you ask me), parade wagons make up for the insane rave that’s going on. Don’t get me wrong, I mean I AM in for a good party, a good drink, and some good fun on a festival, but raving and druggies are just NOT my thing. Anyhow, this morning, and I am so happy we took these photos at like 8 am otherwise it would not have worked anymore, I could wear my new Isabel Marant booties, which I am SO happy with! They are absolutely one of my most loved boots in my wardrobe at the moment!
