LONDON FASHION WEEK

The first show I attended was Michael van der Ham’s in the Old Eurostar Terminal at Waterloo Station. Wow, what an amazing location. Entering the catwalk area, there was a bar with champagne (ohh dear I wanted one so badly, but I didn’t of course!), and finger food. I didn’t experience such hospitality during LFW yet, so it was quite amazing. Soon everyone came in, and guess who I saw (my Facebook readers know it already) in an extravagant green shimmery Prada dress… who else could it be… Anna Dello Russo (Editor-at-large at Vogue Japan). Really cool seeing her in real life. I also spotted Hilary Alexander (the Telegraph’s expert on designer fashion), and Susie Lau (Style Bubble).

Vibrant colors, printed heels, and retro sunnies. Michael’s S/S12 collection was definitely one that makes you want it’s summer already (like that feeling I had at Holly Fulton’s show as well). His collection might not be 100% my taste, however, I definitely got inspired by his use of prints, layers, and colors. And of course, the sunnies! How could I not fall in love with these Prada-inspired retro babes! Later that day (actually during evening) I went to Temperley London’s S/S12 show. I couldn’t take great photos, so please check out the official London Fashion Week website to see the collection! A collection of which I can only say, sweet, pretty, beautiful!

London, and Fashion Week S/S12 you’ve treated me well. I am off to Holland now, and taking with me a whole lot of inspiration for this A/W (streetstyle during Fashion Weeks is the best inspiration you can get), and of course for S/S12. I hope you enjoyed my Fashion Week diaries as much as I enjoyed making them. XO
